Seattle, Washington, April 27, 2011 – Weber Thompson, a Seattle, full-service architecture, interior design, landscape architecture and planning firm has hired interior designer Carrie Smith IIDA to lead the firm’s Interior Design Team. Carrie has a strong background in restaurant and hospitality design, as well as commercial and multifamily experience for projects such as Enso, and residential towers in The Pearl-Qatar, off the coast of Doha.

Weber Thompson conducted a national search for an outstanding designer to lead the Interior Design Team as it expands into new markets. A dedicated cook, Carrie’s experience includes designing a number of restaurants in Boston and Chicago, including being on the team that rebranded Chicago’s famed Giordano’s pizza restaurant. In Seattle, Carrie provided interior design services for Enso and The Martin for client Vulcan Real Estate.
Carrie has a degree in journalism from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, and a Professional Diploma in Interior Design from the Harrington College of Design in Chicago.
