Weber Thompson Welcomes Steve Johnston to Large Projects Team
Seattle, Washington, June 2, 2008 – Weber Thompson, a full-service architecture, interior, landscape and community design firm, has hired senior project manager Steve Johnston to join their large projects team with a focus on commercial/office projects. Mr. Johnston has over thirty years of experience managing commercial and mixed-use projects in the Pacific Northwest.

A graduate of Washington State University with both a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies and a Bachelor of Architecture, Mr. Johnston previously spent 26 years with Curtis Beattie and Associates, where he worked on such notable projects as Fifth and Yesler, 600 Elliott, Metropolitan Park North, and Sterling Park Plaza for large commercial developers like Martin Selig Real Estate and the Benaroya Capital Company. Though his focus has been on office and commercial structures, he also has experience with senior housing, condominium projects and renovations/tenant improvements.
