The tulips have bloomed, the snow melted, and the gears are spinning again en masse on the roads and bike paths of Seattle.  Yes, it’s that time of year again, when WT staff divide and conquer, in the form of cycle-commuters, to reduce traffic congestion and green-house gas contributions.

What themes will this year’s teams come up with?  The profession-punny “Draft Punks” or “Velo-ci-Drafters”?  Been there; done that.

Maybe the powerful, all-women team “Princess Elsa”?  Or perhaps a salute to our football heroes, the 12th-gear Man? The above-grade, Tunnelling Berthas? The blackened-steel chain-guards? Only time will tell…so stay tuned, and tune up that pedal-powered ride: May Bike to Work Month is right around the corner!
