Since childhood, Sarah knew she wanted to be an interior designer. By the age of 11, Sarah was redecorating her room every six months, spackling, sanding, and painting her room herself, as well as refinishing thrift store finds to realize her own visions. It was only natural for Sarah to turn her passion for creating impactful spaces into a career.
Growing up in a suburb of Scranton, Pennsylvania, Sarah moved to Philadelphia to attend Drexel University where she received her undergraduate and graduate degrees, primarily focusing on healthy materials in the built environment. After seven years in Philadelphia, gaining experience in sectors such as Science and Technology and Workplace design, Sarah decided to move cross country to Seattle. She joined the team at Weber Thompson in August 2022, excited to learn about new sectors of design such as multi-family residential and get involved with WT’s Sustainabiliteam.
On a typical Saturday, you’ll probably find Sarah reading a good thriller at a local coffee shop, going on a hike, or relaxing with her two cats. A lesser-known hobby she has is making custom metal jewelry. She finds wearing a pair of earrings that she’s designed and soldered and designed herself extremely satisfying.
