Weber Thompson has been named one of the top 100 design firms working on residential projects in the United States by Interior Design magazine. The announcement came as part of their special ‘Homes’ edition, a first-ever survey of more than 200 world-wide residential design leaders working in a variety of residential market sectors.
Several of Weber Thompson Interior Design’s notable projects include: 259-unit mixed-use apartment project Pike Motorworks in Capitol Hill; IIDA INawards People’s Choice winner LUMA Condominiums; and Sunset Electric, the 2014 NAIOP Night of the Stars Mid-Rise Multi-family Development of the Year.
According to information released in the survey of over 200 residential design leaders around the world, 8 in 10 firms are very bullish about the residential market for the near future. Additionally, firms reported that 93% of clients are private individuals, 79% are real estate investors or developers, and 62% are multifamily apartment/condo developers.
Each year, Interior Design collects and curates data to form clear pictures of business trends in interior design across multiple sectors. This survey was the first of its kind proving that residential design for multifamily, mixed-use, and urban, single-family apartments represents a significant portion of the interior design industry.
